On Friday, Donald Trump, using taxpayer money, launched a media bias tracker, which an actual media bias fact checker website rated as extremely right-biased, that spreads propaganda and conspiracy theories.

Media Bias Fact Check.com, the gold standard for unbiased media site reviews, had this to say about Donald Trump's latest attempt:

Jeff Bazo, you need to know Trump doesn't give a shit about you or any of the boot-licking billionaires who have given millions to his nazi regime. History repeats itself. Trump will use all of you and throw you away when he is finished. Get on the right side of this before it's too late.

I attended the First Unitarian Church ALBQ TDOR and I was shocked

I came completely unprepared to the TDOR service held before US Representative Melanie Stansbury's address at First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque, last Sunday. As I explained at the door, I am more political than religious and came to the 9:00 am service mainly as a courtesy.

I was shocked at how many young people, some in their early teens, had given up hope. I am appreciative that the church utilized the TransLivesMatter website, which counts suicides as the result of violence. And I was appalled that the US has so many trans murders, second now only to Brazil.

See, I fought against the legislation in Texas for 10 years that sought to make our people outcasts, rejected, marginalized, and excluded from society. Eventually, Gov. Abbott succeeded in passing these bills, making my existence illegal.

So I formed a plan a few years ago and acted on it a couple of months ago. I fled to New Mexico, but not before I was attacked and left for dead, and had the displeasure of having a high school football squad block a sidewalk. and a hater I have dealt with for years, emboldened by Cruz's anti trans election ads, shout disparaging remarks at me as I entered a store across the street from my apartment.

An alternative to life I never seriously considered because I had a dear friend in Albuquerque who encouraged me to move and gave me hope. I had no idea that she was suffering from a terminal illness through all of that. Sadly, she died before I could make it to the land of Enchantment, but I have made a friend of her spouse. It seems as if she somehow knew we would connect.

Live long the burque in all of your welcoming, quirky uniqueness. And Rest In Peace all 367 trans and non-binary folks who died worldwide during the 2024-2025 reporting period.

Homeland Security Deported A Trans Woman Against Court Orders

Officials admit ‘inadvertent removal’ after court ruled Britania Uriostegui Rios should not be sent to Mexico.

Officials acknowledged in a court filing that Britania Uriostegui Rios, a transgender woman, was deported to Mexico in violation of a March court order, which ruled that she was likely to face torture if she returned there.

Britanna was offered readmission by Homeland Security if she could make it back to the border and if she agreed to be put back into immigration detention. Britania, who has a lengthy criminal record, has sued Noem to be allowed to remain in the United States and out of detention.

Maria Corina Machado Wins The Nobel Peace Prize

Maria Corina Machado won the Nobel Peace Prize for "leading the struggle for democracy in the face of ever-expanding authoritarianism in Venezuela".

trump, a self discribed "white Nationalist" has commented that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

If Ms. Machado were a US citizen, she may have been classified as ANTIFA, originally meaning anti-fascist but co-opted by the Trump administration to encapsulate anyone who's opposing his attempted authoritarian takeover.

In 2023 she announced her candidacy for president in the 2024 presidential election. When she was blocked from running, she supported the opposition’s alternative candidate, Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia. The opposition mobilised widely and collected systematic documentation that it was the true winner of the election. The regime declared victory and tightened its grip on power.

Ms Machado is receiving the Nobel Peace Prize first and foremost for her efforts to advance democracy in Venezuela. But democracy is also in retreat internationally. Democracy – understood as the right to freely express one’s opinion, to cast one’s vote and to be represented in elective government – is the foundation of peace both within countries and between countries.

One person on Reddit, Pink News reports, called on members of the public to “contact your senators and house reps asap”, urging them to protect “the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ Americans”.

They went on to say: “These are not budgetary measures, they are ideological attacks [that] would erase protections, endanger lives and weaponise federal funding to coerce institutions into abandoning care. For many, access to HRT and affirming care is not optional, it’s life-saving.

“Democrats have the power to stop all this from happening if they hold the line in the Senate.”

Anti-Trans Lawmaker Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges

RJ May faces up to 20 years in federal prison, a fine of $250,000, and at least five years of supervised release to follow any term of imprisonment.

Anti Transgender South Carolina State Legislator and "Freedom Caucus" founder Republican RJ May, 38, pleaded guilty Friday to avoid a trial on charges that he distributed videos of child pornography.

Prosecutors say May exchanged more than 200 explicit files of toddlers and young children on the Kik social media app during several days in spring 2024.

May resigned from the South Carolina House of Representatives last month.

May told the House in January 2024 regarding transgender issues and children: "We as legislators have an obligation to insure that our children have no harm done to them"

Republican Analyst Tim Miller: It's an Authoritarian Takeover

Tim Miller, writer-at-large for the Never Trump opinion website The Bulwark, host for the Bulwark's daily podcast, and MSNBC analyst, weighs in on why Trump is sending the National Guard to Democratic strongholds.

It has come to light that Tyler Robinson, the man being held for the murder of Charlie Kirk, is a follower of the group "Groypers" led by white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

The Groypers are an ultra-nationalist, far-right group rooted in meme culture, and they use a mixture of internet memes, coded language, and mainstream conservative imagery to obscure their extremist beliefs and attract new followers.

This as the Wall Street Journal reported, shell casings left in the woods by Robinson were engraved with messages of transgender and antifascist idiology."

Trump, emboldened by Robinson's parents, who said he had become more "political," told Fox News that “For years, those on the radical Left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world's worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now," Trump said," but in reality, the exact opposite may be true.

Kirk was murdered as he engaged in an open debate with university students in Utah, an activity that the Groypers openly despised. They had previously disrupted an event like this simply because it was inclusive.

The memes and engravings that the Wall Street Journal falsely described as "transgender" and "anti-fascist" were standard engravings from the ammunition manufacturer or memes that the Groyper movement frequently uses. The Wall Street Journal has walked back those provocations but has yet to issue an apology or a full retraction.

Wouldn't be ironic if Kirk was murdered for doing something I admire in a person, a willingness to engage in an open debate, something that most MAGA won't do?

I am relieved that the shooter was not a member of the LGBTQI community or ANTIFA. While I am not mourning his death, I do feel obligated as a Christian to say this: Rest in Peace, Charlie Kirk.

Appeals Court Rules Transgender people can obtain a passport

The First Circuit Court of Appeals on Sept. 4, 2025, ruled against Donald Trump keeping in place an injunction allowing transgender people the right to obtain passports that align with their gender identity.

In April, District Court Judge Julia Kobick granted a preliminary injunction requiring the State Department to allow six transgender and nonbinary plaintiffs in Orr v. Trump to obtain passports with sex designations consistent with their gender identity or with an “X” sex designation while the lawsuit proceeds.

Then, in June, Judge Kobick certified two classes of passport holders and expanded the preliminary injunction to include any class member applying to:

Obtain a new passport,

Change the sex designation or update their name on their current passport

Replace a lost, stolen, or damaged passport, or

Renew their passport within one year of its expiration.

This includes those who, under the Trump administration’s policy, were previously sent a passport with a sex designation listing their sex assigned at birth.

State Department Files Motion To Revoke Transgender Passports

Three weeks after a federal court ruled trans people are constitutionally guaranteed the right to be issued passports, and one week after the State Department's help page was updated to indicate that transgender individuals can obtain a passport with their authentic gender, the acting assistant secretary for passport services filed a motion to revoke and replace passports issued under the current court ruling, "if a higher court allows it".

Erin Reed first reported that the State Department is keeping a list of those who have been issued a passport and intends to revoke those Passports even if the individual was out of the country. This action would be contingent on a ruling by a "higher court," which, of course, is the Trump appointees on the "Supreme" Court.

Scotus Trump appointees will face their most challenging case to date, as they will have to either uphold the constitutional rights of a class of US citizens as the did in BOSTOCK v. CLAYTON COUNTY or rule in favor of their benefactor, Donald Trump.

Abbott responded in the same fashion, by going on the attack after police stood by as a gunman slaughtered 19 children and 2 adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalda, Texas.

Ohio Man Charged With the Murder of Canton Drag Artist

Canton Police have charged Daniel Mattay, 33, with the murder of beloved drag artist Ryan Godbey, even though Godbey has yet to be located.

Godbey, whose pronouns are they/them according to qommittee.org, performed as JJ and was excited do a show Saturday night. When they didn't show, they were reported as missing. Godbey was last seen at Darlin's Crew nightclub on Cherry Avenue NE on Thursday night.

They sent a text to a friend early Friday that Danny was "mad." Calls and texts to their phone since then have gone unanswered.

Canton police announced late Thursday that the disappearance of Ryan Godbey is now a homicide investigation. They’ve charged Daniel Mattay, Ryan’s former partner, with four felonies: murder, felonious assault, strangulation and domestic violence.

“New evidence has led our agency to transition the case from a missing person to a homicide investigation,” Canton Police Chief John Gabbard wrote in a news release. “While Godbey has not yet been located, the new evidence makes it clear that they are deceased and that Mr. Mattay is responsible.”

The police department did not say what the new evidence is. Mattay is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Monday in Canton Municipal Court.

Trans People Can Now Get Passports Indicating Their Authentic Gender

After two weeks of noncompliance with a court order from a class action lawsuit, the State Department's help page, updated two days ago, indicates that transgender people can get a passport with their authentic gender at least temporarily, as Orr. Vs. Trump moves through the legal process.

On June 17, 2025, U.S. District Judge Julia Kobick in Boston expanded a preliminary injunction she issued in April that allowed six transgender and nonbinary individuals who challenged the policy to obtain passports consistent with their gender identities or with an "X" sex designation while the lawsuit moves forward, Reuters Reports.

Kobick did so after concluding the policy the U.S. Department of State adopted pursuant to an executive order Trump signed likely discriminated on the basis of sex and was rooted in an irrational prejudice toward transgender Americans that violated the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment.

100s of Thousands March in Budapest Outlawed Pride Parade as Police Detain Dozens

Organizers expected between 30 and 40 thousand participants like in years before, but were shocked when between 100,000 and 300,000 people marched in the Budapest Pride Parade Sunday.

Many said that they were there to support their LGBTQI community, and many said they came as allies to protest the country's fascist regime.

One marcher, Blanka Molnár, told the AP that it was “a fantastic feeling” that more people had attended the Pride march than ever before despite it being outlawed. She said it was “increasingly important” for Hungarians, “even those who have never been to Pride before,” to push back against the government’s policies.

Video has emerged of police slamming peaceful marchers to the ground and forcing them into vans. The total number of people detained due to the governor's office deeming the march unlawful is unknown.

Case Dismissed Against Trans Woman Who Used Florida Ladies' Room

A Judge has tossed out the case against Marcy Rheintgen, 20, who was arrested in March for washing her hands in a woman's restroom at the Florida State House. The judge dismissed the case on June 20, after prosecutors failed to meet filing deadlines.

Nineteen states have laws banning transgender people from using the restroom, but only two, Florida and Utah, have criminal penalties. Rheintgen is the first and the only person, to date, to be arrested and charged under those laws.

Rheintgen said that she intentionally broke the law because she felt it was disgusting and vile. She mailed letters to law enforcement and lawmakers telling them where and when she would be washing her hands.

When officers told her to leave the restroom, she refused, so they escorted her to a holding room at the state capitol where they offered to give her a notice to appear. But when Rheintgen "refused to lick their boots," she was arrested and charged with trespassing, which carries a possible eleven-month sentence.

Leon County court records show that a judge granted her defense attorney's motion to dismiss the misdemeanor trespassing charge against her on June 20 after state prosecutors failed to file charging documents and other information in her case within a 90-day timeline.

Trump's Proposed Rule Would Deny Cisgender Girls Athletic Opportunities

A proposed rule by the Department of Energy would limit cisgender girls' athletic opportunities, citing Trump's anti-trans executive orders as rationale.

The proposed rule would deny cisgender girls the right to play on boys' teams when their school doesn't have the same teams for girls. For instance, according to The Hill, 4,000 girls played on boys' high school 11-person football teams during the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Department of Energy is preparing to roll back a portion of Title IX requiring that some sports be open to “the underrepresented sex,” a cornerstone of the federal law against sex discrimination in schools that President Trump’s administration has said conflicts with his executive order banning trans girls from playing on teams that align with their authentic gender.

Schools that don't comply would risk losing their share of the $150 billion in grants the energy department currently gives to public schools, which includes funding for school lunches.

Gender critical TERFs, you remember those executive orders targeting transgender people? Of course you do, you celebrated them like it was 1999. Now, Trump is going to use those to deny your rights.

We Win! Senate Deletes Paragraph Crowning Trump King

Despondent, friendless, wannabe dictator watches his military parade as millions march peacefully across the USA protesting his fascist policies.

Senate Republicans have quietly removed a provision from the House GOP’s massive tax-and-spending bill that would have allowed President Donald Trump to circumvent the courts and essentially serve as a king.

Late Thursday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released the panel’s proposed text for the GOP’s so-called Big Beautiful Bill. The House passed its version of the bill last month, so now the Senate is making its changes. Each committee is tasked with putting together language for its relevant section in the legislation, Huffpost reports.

The text that Grassley released for the bill’s judicial section doesn’t include this jarring, one-sentence provision that House Republicans buried in their 1,116-page bill:

Translated, this provision would restrict the ability of any court, including the Supreme Court, to enforce compliance with its orders by holding people in contempt. Contempt citations are an essential tool for the courts; they allow judges to threaten fines, sanctions or even jail if people disobey their orders. The provision in the House GOP’s bill also would apply retroactively to all temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions, leaving courts with no real way of enforcing orders they’ve already handed down.

Yes, this is a win, a major concession by republicans, but it's not over until Trump is out of office and behind bars where he belongs.

Beloved Trans Woman Jax Gratton Found Dead

Transgender woman Jax Gratton was found in a Lakewood, Colorado alley two months after she went missing. Police haven't yet determined the cause of death, but have classified her death as suspicious.

A Rosary Service for Jax Gratton was held June 9 at the Highlands United Methodist Church. It was very important to her mother that the Rosary was performed, but for those who wish to skip this part, friends and family begin her memorial at 51:47.

Her mother, Cherilynne Gratton-Camis, announced the tragic news on Facebook Saturday.

Gratton-Camis confirmed to Denver7 that Gratton’s decomposed body was discovered in an alley in the 9600 block of W. Colfax Avenue on Friday.

She said a detective told her he visually identified Gratton through her tattoos.

"I'm very thankful for that because I would be waiting weeks," Gratton-Camis told Denver7

Police seek 3 juveniles in Acid Attack on Philly Trans Woman

Following the incident, the police video shows the juveniles boarding SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line at 52nd Street and getting off at 60t Street.

The victim, a 25-year-old transgender woman, said she was walking on the first day of Pride while listening to her headphones when she felt a searing pain on her face and legs.

The attack happened on Sunday, June 1, in the unit block of South 51st Street around 1:40 p.m.

She was treated at Temple University Hospital’s Burn Center for second and third-degree burns on her face and leg.

On Friday, June 6, police released surveillance video of three juveniles they were looking to identify in connection with the assault, Fox 29 reports.

The faces of the juveniles were blurred by police due to their age. However, one of the juveniles wore an easily identifiable hoodie.

Transgender Woman Laura Schuler Murdered in Ohio Saturday Morning

Transgender woman Laura Schuler, 47, was shot and killed in Evanston, Ohio, on Saturday morning.

Police say that Schuler was found dead at the scene after responding to a report of a shooting that came in at approximately 6:50 a.m. from the 1500 block of Jonathan Avenue.

Family and friends held a candle light vigil in her memory Satuday night. They described her as a beloved member of the community and hoped the person who murdered her would be brought to justice quickly.

"I'm hurt, I'm devastated," Curtis Johnson, a friend of Schuler's, said. "This has to stop, I'm almost 50, and I go to more funerals for LGBTQIA+ people, more than I ever imagined in my life."

"With her being a trans woman, I just feel like this is crazy during Pride Month. No time is right, but it hurts even more for it to be during pride time," Tyson Carter, another friend of Schuler's, said at the vigil.

Laura Schuler is the 11th trans person murdered in the US this year.
